Mayne will execute a deed poll in order to incorporate the amendments into the constitution. The amendments will become effective once they have been lodged with ASIC.
Supporting local charities
Mayne Investments proudly gives generously to local charities. Mayne CEO Greg Andersen said "Mayne is successful because of the support we receive from the Northern Rivers community. And it is satisfying to repay that loyalty by assisting great local organisations that perform an invaluable service to our community".
For the six years, up until redemptions were suspended, Mayne donated more than $750,000 to many local charities including Our Kids and Westpac Rescue Helicopter. Heartfelt House, another local charity to receive Mayne support, assists adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Vicki Hamilton, from Heartfelt House, said "In an area where so many worthwhile charities are struggling to raise funds, we feel privileged to be chosen to be a recipient of your much needed donation".
Withdrawal rights
The Trust is currently operating as a non-liquid managed investment scheme. This means investors do not have an automatic right to withdraw. Mayne is currently offering periodic withdrawal opportunities.
